I did an interview with Jim Stoten and Ben Newman collectively know as Newtons Porcelain Panther.
NEWTEN’S PORCELAIN PANTHER EPISODE#001 - ANDREW RAE
The very first episode of Porcelain Panther features a very special gentle man/gentleman by the name of Andrew Rae. Andrew has enjoyed a career in illustration for over 10 years and worked on some extraordinary jobs with clients such as the Mighty Boosh, Nintendo, the New York Times and Microsoft to name a few. Monsieur Rae was involved as an illustrator and art director on the BBC comedy programme ‘Monkey Dust’ and is a member of the Illustration collective ‘Peepshow’. On the side, Andrew plays in the band ‘Owen and the Eyeballs’ along with fellow host, Jim.
The following interview took place on a sunny Sunday afternoon in mid-September after a quick trip to the pub.

Here’s a better version of my Celebratory Team GB image for Adidas.
I did some live drawing last week at the “Best Piece of Advice Ever” book launch. It was pretty difficult as I had to illustrate advice live on the spot and I was drawing on an unfamiliar Galaxy tablet. You can see all the drawings from the night here. Thanks to SpecialMoves for making the technology work and to Creative Social for putting on the night.
My friend Duffy found this picture of Paul Smith in front of one of my robot print that he bought a few years back. Read the interview here.
I’ll be selling some zines and bit’s and bobs at Elcaf on Sunday.
